Lifestyle Modular Kitchens by Godrej

Form meets function in a collection of masterpieces designed to elevate the kitchen to a work of art. Its exquisite accessories, enhanced features and premium finishes, add to the kitchen’s artistic sensibilities. Godrej wanted to launch a premium range of modular kitchens for the new age couples and the home socializing families.

THE BRAND CHALLENGE
This was a new product range to be launched in the market and hence it needed to have a defined identity which spoke the language of luxury. With Godrej having just the name of the brand and no clear route of the look and feel, it was essential to design the entire brand language with a set visual appeal. It needed to be simple, minimal and clean.

THE SOLUTION 
The first stage here was to establish the identity of the brand. Once that was set in place, the in-store brand touch points needed to be decided upon and to support the interiors of the store being designed. The tone of voice for brand communication and brand takeaways were the key elements here to give the customer the complete experience. Retail graphics for this project needed to be strong and informative.

THE GRAPHIC INSPIRATION
The language needed to be simple and self explanatory with a blend of typography and simple vectors. The colours to be used were subtle and sophisticated.

THE PROPOSED DESIGN​​​​​​​
TONE OF VOICE

Wooden panels with descriptors in the form of vinyl graphics describing each kitchen setup were proposed. A simple information hierarchy was laid out which helped in giving the right amount of information without being too preachy.
MDF panels with pasted vinyl graphics were proposed in the material library. These would be panels attached to the material on display.


Brand takeaways in the form of cards were proposed which would be on display with the kitchens. These cards would have basic information on kitchen maintenance, food tips and table setups. It would create for an interesting conversation and would also add value to the customers life. 

INSTORE VISUAL STYLING
The visual styling had to be to a subtle colour palette. The language of the photographs had to have the combination of concentration, togetherness and love.
